Joseph
A. Mileto Born and raised in the Bronx Joseph grew up loving comedy and sports. He was able to unite the two in his first play Pasta & Pigskin. He was discovered by 4/10 of a mile productions and the rest is history. The success of Pasta & Pigskin sparked him to start his own theatre group PASTA & PIGSKIN PRODUCTIONS. He wrote, directed, co-produced and made a small cameo in his 2nd play, “Cannoli happen in America”. He credits his partner on that production Robert Gadero with helping him achieve success while wearing several hats. Joseph hopes to continue putting out comedy that New Yorkers can relate too, but more important laugh at. He has several other projects in the pipe line. Like two new plays and a short film in pre-production, along with this years comedy skit show. Mileto likes to work with familiar faces and is very happy to see the career path of several of the actors in PASTA & PIGSKIN PRODUCTIONS. He is always looking for new talent and new ways to make audiences laugh. Joseph credits
his wife with support and strength especially around production time.
His family and close friends also are a big factor in keeping him motivated.
He also credits his cast. He feels it’s only words on paper till
they bring it to life. |
